I have a long-term love affair with the process of making painted paper collages. It is wonderfully tactile to paint, cut, arrange; satisfying to hear the scraping of tools against the paper. And color! I can get lost in the interplay of shapes and colors; the balancing of it all — or not — as the light changes time moves on in the studio.
